Older and hidden plans
Some existing customers may still be on older SocialBu plans that are hidden from the current pricing page. Hidden plans can remain active for existing subscribers, but they are not offered to new users from the current plan selector.
Changing plans
You can upgrade or change plans from Settings > Subscription & Billing, depending on the options available for your account. If your current usage is higher than the limits of the plan you want to switch to, SocialBu may prevent the downgrade until you reduce usage or choose a plan that supports your current resources.
How billing and plan changes work
New web subscriptions: SocialBu starts paid web subscriptions through hosted Stripe Checkout.
Free trial: First-time paid web subscriptions can include a 7-day trial. If your account had a subscription before, the trial may be skipped.
Billing portal: Existing web subscribers manage billing details, invoices, payment methods, and eligible plan changes through the Stripe billing portal from Settings > Subscription & Billing.
Incomplete payments: If a payment requires additional action, SocialBu may ask you to complete the payment before changing or activating the subscription.
Mobile app subscriptions: If your subscription was purchased through the mobile app, plan changes, cancellations, and renewals must be managed through the app store account used for purchase, not from the web billing page.
Downgrades: SocialBu checks your current usage before switching plans. If your usage is above the target plan limits, you may need to reduce usage first or choose a plan that supports your current resources.
Cancellation: When a web subscription is cancelled, access usually continues until the end of the current billing period unless the subscription is ended immediately by a billing action.
