This article explains the current SocialBu subscription plans: Starter, Growth, and Agency. It is for new users choosing a plan and existing users who want to understand the newer plan structure, limits, feature availability, and upgrade options.

Overview

SocialBu currently offers three paid subscription plans for new subscriptions:

  • Starter: for solo marketers, creators, freelancers, and small businesses that need more publishing capacity than the Free plan.

  • Growth: for growing teams that need more accounts, collaboration, automation, social inbox, Curate, Listen, and advanced analytics.

  • Agency: for agencies and larger businesses managing many brands, more accounts, higher publishing volume, and larger team workflows.

All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. Monthly and yearly billing are available. Yearly billing gives a lower effective monthly price and saves about 16% compared with monthly billing.

If you are already subscribed to an older SocialBu paid plan, your existing plan does not change automatically. You can continue using your current plan unless you choose to switch.

Limitations

Each plan has limits based on account capacity, publishing volume, collaboration needs, automation usage, AI credits, and listening usage.

  • Starter limitations: no teams, no team members, no custom queues, no feeds, no Automate, no Curate, no Listen, no Social Inbox, no Link Shortener, and no advanced analytics.

  • Growth limitations: limited to 20 social accounts, 3,000 monthly posts, 5 teams, 4 team members, 10 queues, 10 feeds, 50 automations, 5,000 automation executions per month, 2,000 AI credits, 5 listening streams, and 5,000 matched listening items per month.

  • Agency limitations: limited to 50 social accounts, 20 teams, 8 team members, 30 queues, 30 feeds, 100 automations, 20,000 automation executions per month, 10,000 AI credits, 10 listening streams, and 20,000 matched listening items per month.

Platform-specific publishing rules can still apply. For example, each social network may have its own API permissions, media requirements, posting rules, rate limits, and account access requirements. These platform rules are separate from your SocialBu subscription limits.

FAQs

Do paid plans include a free trial?

Yes. Paid plans include a 7-day free trial.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes. Monthly and yearly billing are available. Yearly billing saves about 16% compared with monthly billing.

What happens if I am on an older paid plan?

Existing paid users on older SocialBu plans are not moved automatically to the newer plans. You can continue using your existing plan unless you choose to switch.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. You can change your subscription from the Subscription and Billing area in your SocialBu settings. The options shown there depend on your current plan and billing setup.

Which platforms are supported?

SocialBu supports X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Business Profile, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, Mastodon, Threads, TikTok, and Bluesky.

Do all plans include Social Inbox?

No. Social Inbox is available on Growth and Agency. It is not included in Starter.

Do all plans include Automate, Curate, and Listen?

No. Automate, Curate, and Listen are available on Growth and Agency. They are not included in Starter.

Do all plans include API and MCP access?

Yes. Starter, Growth, and Agency include API access and MCP access.

Can I get a custom plan?

If your agency or business needs custom account limits or support, contact SocialBu support to discuss custom options.

Which plan is right for you?

  • Choose Starter if you manage a small number of social accounts and mainly need scheduling, publishing, AI writing, and basic analytics.

  • Choose Growth if you manage multiple brands, work with a team, need Social Inbox, Curate, Listen, Automate, advanced analytics, and higher publishing capacity.

  • Choose Agency if you manage many brands or clients, need the highest account capacity, higher team capacity, more automations, more listening volume, and unlimited monthly posts.
