Newly connected account not appearing in Post Composer

When you connect a new social account in SocialBu, it normally appears in the Post Composer within a few seconds to a couple of minutes. In rare cases (provider API delays, permission changes) it can take up to 10–15 minutes.

Expected timing

  • Typical: < 2 minutes.

  • Occasional delay: up to 10–15 minutes (provider-side propagation).

Quick troubleshooting (try in this order)

  1. Refresh the page and open Post Composer again

  2. Hard reload / clear cache β€” Mac: Cmd+Shift+R; or open a private window (Cmd+Shift+N) and sign in.

  3. Check your internet connection

Advanced checks

  • Check browser console/network for failed API calls (Developer Tools: Cmd+Option+I).

  • Try a different browser or device to rule out local caching.

When to contact SocialBu support
If the account still does not appear after ~15 minutes and reconnect attempts:

  • Provide your SocialBu account email.

  • Specify the social network type (e.g., Facebook Page, Instagram Business, Twitter/X).

  • Include screenshots showing the Post Composer.
