Understanding the "Awaiting Approval" Feature in SocialBu
The Content Approvals feature in SocialBu allows teams to maintain control and consistency by requiring post approvals before publishing. If a team member creates a post that needs approval, it will appear on the “Awaiting Approval” page for review.

When a team has Require approval before publishing content enabled, posts created by team members who do not have approval permission are sent to the Awaiting Approval section instead of being published or scheduled directly.
The post stays in Awaiting Approval until a team member with approval permission approves or rejects it.
The post will not be published unless it is approved.
You can find these posts from Publish > Awaiting Approval.

Who can approve posts
Only team members with the Approve posts permission can approve or reject posts.
Users with approval permission will see the Approve and Reject buttons on posts that are waiting for approval.
Team admins can manage approval settings and permissions from the team settings.
What happens after approving the post
Once approved, the post moves to the Scheduled section.
If the scheduled time has already passed, SocialBu can publish the post after it is approved.
Approved posts can still be managed before publishing by users who have the required post editing permissions.
What happens after rejecting the post
The Reject option appears next to the Approve option for users with approval permission.
When rejecting a post, SocialBu asks for a rejection reason.
After rejection, the post is moved back to Drafts, and the post creator is notified with the rejection reason.
Notifications and editing rights
Approvers receive email and in-app notifications when there are posts awaiting approval.
The post creator can edit their own post while it is still awaiting approval.
Users with team post editing permission can manage editable team posts before they are published.
Published posts cannot be edited.
