How to upload a carousel via Bulk Import in SocialBu?

Uploading carousel posts in bulk can save you significant time and effort, especially if you manage multiple social media accounts. With SocialBu's Bulk Import feature, you can schedule and publish carousel posts quickly and efficiently using a CSV template.

Follow the steps below to upload your carousel content seamlessly:

Step 1: Log in to Your SocialBu Account

Start by logging in to your SocialBu account. Once logged in, navigate to the Bulk Import section from the left-hand menu.

Step 2: Download the CSV Template

In the Bulk Import, you’ll see an option to Download Template. Click this to download a CSV file that you can fill in with your content.

If you already have a CSV file from a previous bulk upload, you can use that instead.

Step 3: Prepare Your CSV File

Open the CSV file using any spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar. Fill out the necessary fields, including:

Text/Caption: The post content you want to publish.
Schedule Time: When you want the post to be published.
Platform: The social media platform(s) you're targeting.
Media: This is where you’ll add your image or video links.

Step 4: Add Carousel Media Links

To upload a carousel post (multiple images or videos in one post), enter all the media links in a single cell under the Media column. Make sure to separate each link with a comma (,).

💡 Note: Ensure that all media links are direct URLs and publicly accessible. Otherwise, the media may not upload correctly.

Step 5: Save and Upload the CSV File

After completing your CSV file:

Save the file in .csv format.
Return to the Bulk Import section in SocialBu.
Click Upload CSV, select your file, and confirm the upload.

SocialBu will process your CSV, and your carousel posts will be scheduled or published based on the information you provided.

Verify Media Links: Always double-check that your media URLs are correct and publicly accessible to avoid broken or missing content in your posts.
Use the Correct Schedule Format: Ensure that the date and time format for scheduled posts matches SocialBu’s required format to avoid errors during import.
Mix Post Types with Ease: You can include both carousel posts and single-media posts within the same CSV file.
Keep Media Types Consistent: When creating carousel posts, do not mix image and video files in a single carousel. Use either all images or all videos per carousel post.
