Overview
SocialBu’s Bulk Import feature allows you to efficiently upload and schedule up to 200 posts at once across different platforms and accounts. This powerful functionality is ideal for social media managers handling large volumes of content.

Step 1: Organize Data in a CSV File
Download and fill in the provided CSV template with the required fields. Here's how to structure your file:
✅ Required Columns:
- Content: The main text of the post.
- Media: Direct URLs to images or videos.
- Account: The name of the connected account you're posting from.
- Account Type: Platform (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Publish At: Schedule date/time in this format:
dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm(am/pm)
Example:
27/08/2024 04:30pm
- Link: (Optional) A single URL to be added as a clickable link (mainly for LinkedIn and Facebook).

Use services that provide direct image/video URLs. Examples:

Step 2: Add Optional Columns (Platform-Specific Features)
Optional fields may vary based on the platform (e.g., CTA buttons, first comments, headlines).
To identify what optional settings are available for your target platform:
- Open the Post Composer
- Click on Show Options
Review the fields relevant to that platform
Then, replicate those headings in your CSV file as additional columns.
Example:
For a Google My Business post with a "Learn More" CTA button, add:

Step 3: Check File Format and Encoding
Before uploading:
- Save the file in CSV format
- Ensure UTF-8 Unicode text encoding for compatibility
Step 4: Import the CSV File
- Click "Select CSV File" on the Bulk Import page
- Upload your CSV
- Review your data
- Click Import
- If any rows contain errors, SocialBu will highlight them for correction. Once resolved, all successful entries will be added to your Scheduled posts.
FAQs
- How many posts can I upload at once?
You can upload up to 200 posts in one CSV file.
- What happens if I use incorrect date/time formatting?
Your post will not import. Make sure to use dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm(am/pm) format.
- Can I use links from Google Drive or Dropbox for media?
No. Only direct links (ending in .jpg, .png, .mp4, etc.) are supported.
- How do I find optional fields for different platforms?
Use the Post Composer > Show Options to see what each platform supports.
- Can I mix different platform posts in the same CSV?
Yes. Just make sure the Account and Account Type columns are correctly filled for each row.
