The account_ids is not set message can appear when SocialBu receives an account-selection request without any selected account IDs. The backend has this validation for platforms where SocialBu asks you to choose one or more accounts after authorization.

Exact messages you may see

  • account_ids is not set - facebook account

  • account_ids is not set - linkedin account

  • account_ids is not set - google account

Which platforms are affected

  • Facebook: Facebook Pages returned after Facebook authorization

  • LinkedIn: Profiles, Organizations, and Brands returned after LinkedIn authorization

  • Google: YouTube channels or Google Business Profile locations returned after Google authorization

Why it can happen

In the current SocialBu UI, the Add button in the account-selection popup is disabled until at least one account is selected. If you still see this error, it usually means the selection state was not sent correctly, the popup/session became stale, or the connection flow was submitted outside the normal UI.

How to fix it

  1. Go back to Accounts in SocialBu.

  2. Start the connection again for the same platform.

  3. Wait for the account-selection popup to fully load.

  4. Select at least one account in the popup.

  5. Click Add only after the button becomes active.

If the account list is empty

  • Make sure you authorized the correct Facebook, LinkedIn, or Google profile.

  • Confirm that profile has access to the Page, Organization, Brand, YouTube channel, or Google Business Profile location you want to add.

  • Grant all requested permissions during authorization.

  • Try again in a fresh browser session or private window if the platform keeps using the wrong login.
