Connecting Multiple Social Media Profiles and Pages in SocialBu
Learn how to connect multiple profiles, pages, organizations, channels, or locations to SocialBu by authorizing each source from the correct platform account.

How It Works
SocialBu connects accounts based on the profile or login you authorize on each social network. One authorized profile can sometimes expose several selectable assets, such as Facebook Pages, LinkedIn Organizations or Brands, Google Business Profile locations, YouTube channels, or Reddit communities.
If the page, organization, channel, location, or community you need is managed by a different platform profile, sign in with that profile and connect again.
The Process
Think of each platform login as the key to the assets that login can manage. To add assets from Profile A, authorize Profile A. To add assets from Profile B, authorize Profile B in a separate session or after switching accounts on that platform.
Example: Multiple Facebook Pages
Scenario: You manage Facebook Pages from two different Facebook profiles.
First profile
Open Accounts in SocialBu.
Choose Facebook.
Log in with Profile A and grant the required permissions.
Select the Pages you want to connect, then click Add.
Second profile
Choose Facebook again.
Log out of Profile A on Facebook, use a different browser/session, or switch to Profile B when Facebook asks.
Authorize Profile B.
Select the Pages available to Profile B, then click Add.
Both sets of Pages can appear in your SocialBu Accounts list after they are added.
Where this applies
This approach is most useful for platforms where one login can manage multiple selectable assets:
Facebook: Pages available to the authorized Facebook profile
LinkedIn: Personal Profile, Organizations, and Brands available to the authorized LinkedIn profile
Google: YouTube channels or Google Business Profile locations available to the authorized Google account
Reddit: Profiles and Subreddits available to the authorized Reddit account
For platforms that connect a single profile at a time, such as X/Twitter, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Instagram, or Pinterest, repeat the connection flow only when you need to authorize a different platform login or profile.
Quick Checklist
Do:
Sign in with the platform profile that has access to the asset you want to connect.
Connect one platform login/session at a time.
Use a separate browser, private window, or logout/login flow when switching profiles.
Confirm you have the required admin, manager, owner, or content permissions for the page, organization, channel, location, or community.
Do not:
Do not expect assets from Profile B to appear while you are authorized as Profile A.
Do not assume every page or organization appears automatically. SocialBu can only show what the platform returns for the authorized profile and granted permissions.
Do not skip requested permissions. Missing permissions can prevent accounts from appearing or working correctly.
