Team Automations and Permissions

Overview

Team automations let a team use shared accounts and queues in automated workflows. Access depends on the team permissions assigned to each member.

Required permissions

  • To create team automations, a member needs Create automations permission.

  • To edit team automations, a member needs Manage automations permission.

Accounts and queues

Automation actions can only use accounts and queues available to the user or team. If an account or queue is not available, SocialBu may reject the automation settings or the action may fail.

Limits

Team automation limits depend on the team owner’s plan and available resources. On current plans, Free and Starter do not include automations, Growth includes up to 50 automations and 5,000 monthly automation executions, and Agency includes up to 100 automations and 20,000 monthly automation executions. Legacy plans may have different limits.

If the monthly execution limit is reached, SocialBu can skip automation runs and show the limit message in automation history.

Tips for teams

  • Name automations clearly so team members know what each workflow does.

  • Use one source account per account-based trigger.

  • Review automation history when troubleshooting shared workflows.

  • Duplicate existing automations when creating a similar workflow for another account.
