Use this guide when a post, scheduled post, queue item, or connected account does not behave as expected in SocialBu.

Start with these checks

  • Open Publish and confirm the post is in the expected section, such as Scheduled, Queue, Drafts, Awaiting Approval, or History.

  • Make sure the selected social account is connected and active in Accounts.

  • If you are using a team, confirm the account is added to the team and that you have permission to create or edit posts.

  • Review the post content, links, and media against the selected platform limits.

  • Check the exact error shown by SocialBu before retrying.

Common publishing troubleshooting topics

  • Instagram collaborator errors: Check collaborator usernames, public account access, and the 5-collaborator limit. Collaborators are not sent for Instagram Stories.

  • New account missing in Post Composer: Confirm the account is active and available to your personal workspace or selected team.

  • X/Twitter link limits: Posts and threaded replies with URLs have separate daily and monthly link-post limits.

  • Bulk Import errors: Check the Bulk Import troubleshooting article for row-level CSV errors such as missing accounts, invalid dates, queues, boards, or media URLs.

When to contact support

If the issue continues, contact SocialBu support with the social network, account name, post type, scheduled time, exact error message, and a screenshot. This helps the team identify whether the issue is caused by account permissions, platform limits, media validation, or an upstream platform response.
