How It Works

SocialBu connects to your social accounts through your personal profiles. Each profile can manage multiple pages or organizations. To connect pages from different profiles, you must log in with each profile separately.

The Process

Think of it like a keychain: each profile is a key that unlocks its associated pages. To access pages from Profile A, log in with Profile A. To access pages from Profile B, log in with Profile B.

Step-by-Step Example: Multiple Facebook Pages

Scenario: You manage pages from two different Facebook profiles.

  1. First Profile:

    • Click "Connect Account" for Facebook

    • Log in with Profile A

    • Select the pages you want to connect

    • Complete authorization

  2. Second Profile:

    • Click "Connect Account" for Facebook again

    • Log out of Profile A (or use a different browser)

    • Log in with Profile B

    • Select the pages you want to connect

    • Complete authorization

Both sets of pages will now appear in your SocialBu dashboard.

This Works the Same for All Platforms

This process applies to all supported platforms:

  • Facebook (Personal Profiles → Facebook Pages)

  • LinkedIn (Personal Profiles → Company Pages)

  • Instagram, Twitter/X, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business Profile

Quick Checklist

✅ Do's:

  • Log in with the correct profile before connecting

  • Connect one profile at a time

  • Use separate browser sessions if connecting different profiles

  • Verify you have admin/manager access to the pages you want to connect

❌ Don'ts:

  • Don't try to connect pages from Profile B while logged in as Profile A

  • Don't assume all pages appear automatically—connect each profile separately

  • Don't skip the login step—each profile must authenticate individually
