🔗How to Connect Your TikTok Account with SocialBu

With SocialBu, you can seamlessly manage and publish content to your TikTok profiles. Follow the steps below to connect your TikTok account and start scheduling posts with ease.

Step 1: Connect Your TikTok Account

  • Log in to SocialBu and navigate to the Social Accounts page.

Step 2: Initiate the Account Addition Process

  • Click the + Add Account button.

Step 3: Select TikTok as Your Platform

  • From the list of available platforms, select TikTok (Profiles).

Note:

1) Ensure you are already logged into your TikTok account in the same browser. If not, you’ll be prompted to do so.

2) If the user has successfully connected their first TikTok account. However, when attempting to connect the second account, they were still logged into the first account on TikTok.com. Consequently, SocialBu automatically detected and re-connected the active (first) account.

  • Authorize SocialBu to access your TikTok account when prompted by clicking Authorize. Once authorized, your TikTok profile will be successfully connected to SocialBu and ready for use.

  • Caption/text limit: None

    Video duration: Up to 10 minutes

  • Frame rate: 23–60 FPS

1) Invalid attachment type for selected accounts

Please make sure the media you’re uploading is in a supported format. This error usually occurs when the platform doesn’t accept the file type.

2) Network error

Network errors are temporary and typically result from internet issues. Make sure that you have a good internet connection when you are trying to publish.

3) An unexpected error has occurred. Please retry your request later

This error is temporary and will resolve automatically when retrying after some time.

4) Invalid session error 400 or Account Connection broken

  1. Head to https://socialbu.com/app/accounts

  2. Find your account and click delete.

  3. Try connecting the tiktok again.

5) Error while sending the media to Tiktok. Fail reason: internal.

This means there is an issue at tiktok's end

  1. Try reconnecting the account and ensure all required permissions are given.
