What is an AppSumo lifetime deal?

An AppSumo lifetime deal gives eligible customers access to the plan included in their AppSumo purchase for the lifetime of the product, based on the deal terms shown on AppSumo at the time of purchase.

Your AppSumo deal is different from SocialBu's regular monthly or yearly subscription plans. AppSumo customers are usually placed on a special lifetime deal plan with limits based on the license tier or number of codes purchased.

How AppSumo plan tiers work

Most AppSumo deals are offered in license tiers, such as License Tier 1, License Tier 2, License Tier 3, and higher. Higher tiers usually include increased limits, such as more users, more social accounts, higher scheduled post limits, or access to additional features.

The exact limits depend on the AppSumo offer that was active when you purchased. To confirm your tier and limits:

1. Log in to your AppSumo account.

2. Open Products or My Purchases.

3. Select your SocialBu purchase.

4. Check the license tier, codes, redemption details, and deal terms listed there.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my AppSumo tier?

AppSumo tier upgrades or downgrades are only available while the AppSumo deal is active and according to AppSumo's rules. If the deal has ended, SocialBu support usually cannot add more AppSumo codes or move your account to a higher AppSumo tier.

If you need higher limits after the AppSumo deal has ended, you can contact SocialBu support to review the available upgrade options.

Can I switch from an AppSumo deal to a regular SocialBu plan?

Yes. If your AppSumo limits no longer fit your needs, you can move to one of SocialBu's current subscription plans. Before switching, review the regular plan limits carefully because AppSumo lifetime deal terms and current subscription plan limits may be different.

If you purchased a valid AppSumo deal, your account should follow the AppSumo terms attached to your redeemed license, not necessarily the current pricing page.
