Snippets in SocialBu help you save and reuse text blocks so you do not have to write the same content repeatedly. They are designed to make content creation faster, keep messaging consistent, and help teams reuse approved content more efficiently. Whether you are managing content on your own or collaborating with a team, Snippets give you a simple way to build a reusable content library inside SocialBu. What are Snippets in SocialBu? A snippet is a saved piece of text that includes:

  • A title

  • Content

  • An optional team assignment

How to create snippets

  1. Open the Snippets section.

  2. Click Add Snippet.

  3. Enter a title for the snippet.

  4. Add the content you want to save.

  5. Select a team to make it shared.

  6. Save the snippet.

In the current SocialBu workflow:

  • Snippet titles can be up to 200 characters

  • Snippet content can be up to 5000 characters

How to use Snippets in the composer

Snippets are integrated directly into the post creation workflow. To insert a snippet while creating content:

  1. Open the post composer.

  2. Type /snippet

  3. Search for the snippet you want to use

  4. Select it from the list

  5. The snippet content will be inserted into the editor

Snippets can be personal or team-based. If you create a snippet without selecting a team, it is saved as a personal snippet. If you assign it to a team, it becomes a shared team snippet that team members can access based on their permissions. For teams, the main permissions are:

  • snippets.view

  • snippets.manage

Snippets are useful for saving:

  • Commonly used captions

  • Hashtag groups

  • Call-to-action lines

  • Promotional text

  • Campaign messaging

  • Reusable content blocks

  • Approved team copy

If Snippets are not available in your workspace, check:

  • Whether your plan includes the feature

  • Whether you have the correct team permissions

  • Whether the snippet was created under your personal account or under a team workspace
