How to Import Media from Dropbox in SocialBu

SocialBu now allows you to import media directly from Dropbox while creating or scheduling a post. This makes it easier to use images and videos stored in your Dropbox account without downloading them first.

Steps to import media from Dropbox

  1. Log in to your SocialBu account.

  2. Go to Publish and create a new post.

  3. Select the social account(s) you want to post to.

  4. Write your caption or post content.

  5. In the media section, click Import from Dropbox.

  6. Sign in to Dropbox if prompted.

  7. Choose the image or video file you want to import.

  8. Wait for the media to load into SocialBu.

  9. Review your post, then publish it immediately or schedule it for later.

Important notes

  • The selected Dropbox file is imported into SocialBu for posting.

  • If you edit or replace the file later in Dropbox, it will not automatically update the media already added to your SocialBu post.

  • Supported file types depend on the selected social platform. For example, most platforms support common formats like JPG, PNG, MP4, and MOV.

  • Large video files may take longer to import.

Troubleshooting

If Dropbox import does not work:

  • Refresh the page and try again.

  • Make sure pop-ups are allowed in your browser.

  • Disable any ad blocker or browser extension that may block Dropbox.

  • Check that the file format and size are supported by the social platform you selected.

  • If the issue continues, try downloading the file from Dropbox and uploading it manually to SocialBu.
