Creating and scheduling posts on social media platforms:
The first and most important step is selecting the platform(s) where you want your content to appear. Each platform has its own strengths, audience, and content limitations.
SocialBu enables you to manage up to 12 social media platforms from a single, centralized dashboard, streamlining your workflow and keeping you organized.
Enter your post in the content area. You can also:
Attach images, videos, or other media files
Add hashtags or links to boost engagement
📢 Note:
SocialBu allows you to publish to multiple Facebook pages at once by selecting multiple accounts in the Post Composer. You can also customize the caption for each page individually.
All videos uploaded to Facebook are now automatically treated as Reels, regardless of their duration or format.
Post Options
For Videos
Within the +Options menu, you can access the following features:
Enable the “Post as Story” option to publish your video as a Facebook Story.
Upload a custom thumbnail for your video.
Add a title to your video post.
Include a first comment that will be posted along with your video.
For Images
Within the same +Options menu, you can:
Select “Post as Story” to share your image as a Story.
Add a first comment to your image post.
Include alt text to improve accessibility and provide context for your image.
Enter your post in the content area. You can also:
Attach images, videos, or other media files
Add hashtags or links to boost engagement
📢Note:
Socialbu allows you to publish to multiple X accounts at once by selecting multiple accounts in the Post Composer. You can also customize the caption for each page individually.
To publish a Twitter thread, click on +Options and start adding multiple tweets.
Mastodon
Enter your post in the content area. You can also:
Attach images, videos, or other media files
Add hashtags or links to boost engagement
You can further customize and enhance your post using the following features, giving you more control over how your content is presented and experienced:
Mark as sensitive (optional):
Look for the “Sensitive Content” option and toggle it on if your post includes material that may require a warning.Add threaded replies (optional):
Use the “Add Reply” or “Thread” option to create additional connected posts that will appear as a thread.Add spoiler text (optional):
Highlight the portion of text you want to hide and select the “Spoiler” option to conceal it.Add ALT text to media (optional):
After uploading an image or video, click on the media options and enter descriptive ALT text to improve accessibility.
Enter your post in the content area. You can also:
Attach images, videos, or other media files
Add hashtags or links to boost engagement
You can take full advantage of Instagram publishing features to make your content more engaging and collaborative:
Post Instagram Stories and Reels directly from the platform
Add up to 5 collaborators (e.g., username1, username2, username3, username4, username5) to expand your reach
Include a first comment to share additional information, hashtags, or context
Attach a custom thumbnail to your Instagram videos for a more polished appearance
📢 Note:
Personal Instagram accounts cannot be connected.
Adding links or GIFs to Stories is not supported.
Mixing images and videos within the same carousel is not supported.
You can include up to 10 images in a single carousel post on SocialBu.
Type your post in the content field. You can also enhance it with the following options:
Attach images, videos, or documents (PDF, PPT, DOC) in a single post
Use hashtags to increase visibility and engagement
Let AI help you complete or improve your caption
Add emojis to make your content more expressive
Include external links to provide additional value
Customize your content for multiple accounts to better suit each audience
📢 Note:
Socialbu allows you to post to multiple LinkedIn accounts or pages at once. You can customize the caption for each account individually, but you cannot attach separate media files for each account when posting to multiple accounts simultaneously.
You can add a first comment to your posts to include additional details, links, or hashtags without overcrowding the main caption.
Google My Business
Write your post in the content area. You can also:
Attach images, videos, or other media files
Add hashtags, mentions, or links to boost engagement
You can choose from three types of posts using the dropdown menu:
Standard
Event
Offer
Simply click the dropdown to select the type of post you want to create.
If you choose the Standard post type, you’ll also have the option to add a Call-to-Action (CTA) button to encourage engagement.
If you choose "Event" as the post type, you must enter the event title, along with its start and end time.
If you want to post about an Offer, it's mandatory to add the title, start time, and end time. Other fields like coupon code, URL, and terms and conditions are optional.
📢Note:
Ensure that the Google account you use has proper permissions for the business profile.
If managing multiple locations, you will have to connect each profile individually.
Once you are done, you can schedule or publish your post right away.
Tiktok
Write your post in the content area. You can also:
Attach images, videos, or other media files
Add hashtags, mentions, or links to boost engagement
📢Note:
You can upload a carousel as well, but it should be a mix of images.
Ensure you are already logged into your TikTok account in the same browser. If not, you’ll be prompted to do so.
If the user has successfully connected their first TikTok account. However, when attempting to connect the second account, they were still logged into the first account on TikTok.com. Consequently, SocialBu automatically detected and re-connected the active (first) account.
You can manage your post settings from the Options section.
Privacy Settings
Choose who can view your post by selecting one of the following:Public – Visible to everyone
Mutual Followers – Visible only to users you follow and who follow you back
Only Me – Visible only to you
Additional Controls
You can also customize how others interact with your post:Enable or disable comments
Allow or restrict duet and stitch
Control the visibility of your post’s content
Video Option
Attach a custom thumbnail to your video for better presentation
Threads
Write your post in the content area. You can also:
Attach images, videos, or other media files.
Add hashtags, mentions/tags, or links to enhance engagement.
📢Note:
You can upload a carousel of up to 10 images in a single post. However, carousel posts with multiple videos are not supported.
For video posts, you can only attach one video at a time.
When creating a post on Threads via Socialbu, you can choose who is allowed to reply to it, giving you more control over conversations and engagement.
This helps you manage the tone of your posts, avoid unwanted replies, and keep discussions relevant.
Reply privacy options include:
Everyone – Anyone on Threads can reply.
Profiles You Follow – Only accounts you follow can reply.
Mentioned Only – Only people mentioned in the post can reply.
Just choose your preferred reply setting while composing your post, and SocialBu will apply it when the post is published.
With Socialbu, you can easily create threaded replies, a series of connected posts that appear as one continuous conversation on Threads.
Write your post in the content area. You can also:

📢 Note:
Pinterest allows only one image or one video per post (Pin). Uploading multiple media files in a single Pin is not supported.
If your Pinterest boards are not appearing, try reconnecting your account to refresh the connection and load all available boards.
If you don’t add a Pin title or description but include a link, Pinterest will automatically use the link’s title and description for your Pin.
If the Pin title is left blank, the content you write in the post composer will be used as the Pin title instead.
Add a Title – Give your Pin a clear and descriptive title.
Select a Board – Choose the most relevant board to organize your Pin.
Attach a Link – Add a link to direct viewers to your website or content.
Add a Custom Thumbnail – Upload a custom image to make your Pin stand out.
Youtube
Write your post in the content area. You can also:
Attach videos
Add hashtags or links
📢 Note:
You can now upload up to 15 videos per account per day.
This limit is set by YouTube and applies to all users.
You can easily upload and schedule YouTube Shorts using Socialbu, allowing you to stay consistent with your short-form content without manual uploads.
When uploading videos to YouTube through Socialbu, you can mark content as "Made for Kids" to comply with YouTube’s child safety policies and COPPA regulations.
When uploading a video through Socialbu, you’ll find a "Title" field where you can enter the name of your video.
When scheduling a YouTube video in Socialbu, you can control who can see your video by choosing the appropriate visibility setting:
🔓 Public – Anyone can view your video on YouTube. It's searchable and shareable.
🔗 Unlisted – Only people with the direct link can view it. It won’t appear in search results or your channel feed.
🔒 Private – Only you (and specific users you invite) can view the video. It's completely hidden from the public.
When uploading a video through SocialBu, you can easily add relevant tags by entering keywords in the “Tags” field.
You can select a category from the available list to match your video’s topic.
A thumbnail is the first thing viewers notice; it’s like a visual headline for your video. When uploading a video through Socialbu, you can upload a custom thumbnail to grab attention.
Bluesky
Write your post in the content area. You can also:

Please note that you can connect multiple subreddit accounts as well. Each subreddit counts as a separate social account in Socialbu.
You can add a custom title. Simply click on the +Options button located beneath your post editor. From there, you’ll see the option to enter a title.

Can I connect accounts on the Free Plan?

Can I connect multiple accounts of same platform?
Yes that is possible.
How many accounts I can connect?
You can connect accounts based on your plan.
Does each Google my business listing or subreddit count as a separate account in Socialbu?
Yes
Can I upload carousels (multiple images/videos)?
Mix of images carousel is possible however mix of videos and images is not.
Can I attach documents in LinkedIn?
Yes, PDF, PPT, DOC (1 document at a time)
Can I tag users on LinkedIn?
Only Pages/organizational accounts can be tagged
Do Socialbu verify GMB listings?
No, socialbu doesn’t verify Google my business listings
