Duplicate an Existing Automation

Duplicating an automation in SocialBu allows you to quickly replicate an existing automation's structure, saving time when creating similar workflows. You can later customize the duplicated automation as needed without starting from scratch.

  1. Log in to your SocialBu account.

  2. From the left-hand menu, click the Automate section.

  3. Locate the automation you wish to duplicate.

  4. Click the three-dot menu next to that automation.

  5. From the dropdown, select Duplicate.

  6. A copy of the automation will be created immediately and appear in your automation list.

  7. You can now rename, edit, or activate the duplicated automation as needed.

  • Can I modify a duplicated automation?

    Yes, once duplicated, the automation can be edited like any other.

  • Will the duplicated automation be active by default?

    No. A duplicated automation is created in an inactive state. Review the trigger, conditions, and actions first, then manually enable it when ready.

  • Does duplication include all settings and conditions?

    Yes, all event triggers, actions, and conditions will be copied to the new automation.
