Set Up an Automation for Facebook Post Replies

Overview

Use this automation when someone replies to a Facebook Page post and you want SocialBu to reply or run another action automatically.

Before you start

  • Connect the Facebook Page to SocialBu.

  • Make sure the automation is created for the correct Facebook Page account.

Steps

  1. Go to Automate and create a new automation.

  2. Select Someone replies to a post as the trigger.

  3. Select the Facebook Page account that should trigger the automation.

  4. Add optional conditions, such as reply content, whether the reply has media, whether the post was published by the account, or a specific post ID.

  5. Choose the action SocialBu should run. For this trigger, you can send a reply, send an email, publish a post, add a post to a queue, or send an HTTP request.

  6. Save the automation and switch it to Active.

Can I select multiple Facebook Pages in one automation?

No. Select one trigger account per automation. Duplicate the automation if you need the same setup for another Page.

Can I reply automatically?

Yes. Use the Send reply action and add the reply text.
