SocialBu lets you schedule TikTok content directly to your account and now you can also choose to send it as a draft to TikTok instead of publishing it immediately from SocialBu. This gives you a chance to review, edit, or apply finishing touches inside the TikTok app before going live.
What is "Upload as Draft"?
When you enable the Upload as Draft option for a TikTok post in SocialBu, the media file is uploaded to TikTok and saved in your Drafts folder β it won't be published to your profile. You can then open TikTok, find the draft, and publish it manually whenever you're ready.
This is useful when:
You want a final review inside TikTok before publishing
Your team needs to approve content directly in TikTok
You want to add TikTok-native effects, sounds, or captions before going live
How to Use It
Go to Publish in SocialBu and create or schedule a new post
Select TikTok as the target account
In the TikTok-specific settings panel, look for the "Upload as Draft" checkbox
Tick it
Schedule or post as usual β the video will be sent to your TikTok Drafts instead of being published
Things to Know
Drafts are only visible to you β they won't appear on your TikTok profile until you publish them manually
You must open the TikTok app on your device to find and publish the draft
Once sent as a draft, SocialBu won't be able to publish it on your behalf β you'll need to do it from TikTok directly
All other TikTok settings (caption, privacy, allow comments, etc.) you configure in SocialBu will still be applied to the draft
Troubleshooting
The draft isn't showing up in TikTok Make sure you're logged into the same TikTok account that's connected to SocialBu. Drafts are device/account-specific and may take a moment to appear.
