The "Board" column is mandatory when uploading posts to Pinterest. Without this, your posts will not be accepted.

Bulk Importing posts on Pinterest

Go to Accounts and connect your Pinterest profile (if not already connected).

  1. Go to the Bulk Import Section

    Navigate to Publish → Bulk Import.

  1. Download the CSV Template

    Use the provided CSV format to ensure your data is correctly structured.

  1. Fill in the Required Post Details

  • Add the content, image URLs, post date/time, and the Board name for each post. The board name must match an existing Pinterest board connected to that account.

  • You can add additional post options in new columns, such as pin title, pin link, media alt text, and thumbnail. For video pins, a thumbnail is required.

  • Follow the template closely to avoid formatting errors.

  1. Upload Your CSV File

    After completing the file, upload it back into the Bulk Import section.

  1. Import Your Posts

    A pop-up will confirm the posts detected from the CSV. Click “Import” to finalize the upload.

  1. View Your Scheduled Posts

    All successfully imported posts will appear under the “Scheduled” tab in the Publish feature

  • What happens if I forget to enter a board name?

    Your post will not upload. The "Board" column is required for every Pinterest post.

  • Can I upload image and text content together?

    Yes, include your image URL and caption in the respective columns of the CSV.

  • Where can I check if my posts were uploaded successfully?

    You can see all your imported posts under the “Scheduled” section within the Publish feature.
