When submitting your guest post, consider the following:

  • Depth over brevity: Aim for a minimum of 1,500 words.

  • Actionable insights: Give readers tips, tools, and strategies they can implement immediately.

  • Unique perspectives: Share your personal insights or experiences to make your post stand out.


Writing Guidelines

  • Style: Helpful, friendly, funny, and informative.

  • No self-promotion: Avoid overt promotion of your brand, though you can link to your own website or blog when relevant.

  • Internal links: Include links to existing SocialBu content where appropriate.

  • Visuals: Add at least 4 images, quotes, stats, graphs, or other visual elements.

  • Research-backed: Support your advice with credible research, case studies, or examples. Cite reputable sources.

  • Readability: Check your content readability using Grammarly or similar tools.

Posts that seem spammy or self-promotional may be edited at our discretion.


Formatting Guidelines

  • Bold noteworthy points or keywords.

  • Capitalize the first word of bullet points.

  • Use subheadings, bullet lists, images, and short paragraphs to make your post scannable.

  • Conclusion: Wrap up your post with a conclusion that summarizes key takeaways and reinforces your main points.


Linking Guidelines

  • Introduction: Do not include external links in the introduction.

  • Relevance: Links must be relevant, useful, and naturally inserted.

  • Anchor text: Avoid using your guest post’s main keyword as the anchor text.

  • Competitors: Links to competitor sites or sites that compete with the source URL will not be added.

  • Frequency: Limit links to one every 100–200 words and avoid placing multiple links in the same paragraph.

  • Restrictions:

    • No links to casino, CBD, or gambling sites

    • No affiliate links
