Pause, Resume, or Delete an Automation

Managing automations in SocialBu is simple. Whether you want to temporarily pause or permanently delete an automation, the steps below will help you take the right action.

To pause an automation

  1. Log in to your SocialBu account.

  2. From the left-hand menu, click the Automate section.

  3. A list of your created automations will appear.

    To pause an automation:

    • Locate the automation you wish to pause.

    • Open the automation, then use the Active/Inactive toggle in the editor header to turn it off. This pauses the automation without deleting it.

To delete your automation:

  • Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the automation you want to remove.

  • Choose Delete from the dropdown options.

  • Confirm the deletion when prompted.

  • Can I reactivate a paused automation?

    Yes. Open the automation and switch it back on.

  • Will deleting an automation remove queued posts?

    No. Any posts already added to the queue will remain unless manually deleted.

  • Can I edit an automation instead of deleting it?

    Yes. Open the automation in the editor or Flow Editor and modify its trigger, conditions, or actions as needed.

  • Can I delete the post/reply sent by the automation through SocialBu?

    With SocialBu, only scheduled posts can be deleted. You can delete the reply after it gets published directly from the platform.
