How to Connect Your Social Media Account(s) to Socialbu

Learn how to connect your social media accounts to Socialbu so you can manage, schedule, and publish content from one place. This guide walks you through the steps to add new accounts, authorize access, and successfully link your profiles for seamless social media management.

First, log in to your Socialbu account. Once you’re in, scroll down to the Control Center, where you’ll find the option to connect your social accounts. From there, you can easily find the platforms you want to add to your profile.

Selecting the platform will redirect you to its login page, where you will be prompted to enter your credentials. While connecting the account(s), you need to make sure that you give all the access to Socialbu to avoid any issues while connecting the account.

Upon successful authentication, a pop-up will appear for some platforms within Socialbu. From the dropdown menu, select the desired account, and click Add to complete the connection process.

The account will be successfully added and displayed in the list.

Important things to note while connecting accounts:

Multiple accounts on the same platform: If you are connecting multiple accounts of the same platform and are unable to add another one, make sure you are logged into that specific account in your browser, then try connecting again.
Connecting a Bluesky account: Before linking your Bluesky account, you must generate an App Password.
How to generate an App Password:
1. Log in to your Bluesky account using a desktop browser.
2. Click your profile picture (top right) → Settings.
3. Go to Privacy and Security.
4. Click Add App Password.
5. Enter a name (e.g., SocialBu Integration).
6. Click Create App Password, then Done.
Note: Copy the password immediately—Bluesky will not show it again.
Add Bluesky to SocialBu: Use the generated App Password (not your main password) when connecting your Bluesky account to SocialBu.
