How to pause and delete automation?

Managing automations in SocialBu is simple. Whether you want to temporarily pause or permanently delete an automation, the steps below will help you take the right action.

To Pause your Automation

  1. Login to your SocialBu account.

  2. From the left-hand menu, click on the Automate section.

  3. A list of your created automations will appear.

    To pause an automation:

    • Locate the automation you wish to pause.

    • Use the toggle switch next to the automation’s name to turn it off (paused).

To delete your automation:

  • Click on the three dots (⋮) next to the automation you want to remove.

  • Choose Delete from the dropdown options.

  • Confirm the deletion when prompted.

⚠️ Note: Automation Still Appears Active?

If you've already deleted or paused an automation but it seems to still be executing:

  • Go to the Queue section.

  • Check if the automation was designed to add posts to a queue.

  • Posts already added to a queue will remain scheduled unless manually removed.

    Yes, simply toggle it back on from the Automate section.

  • Will deleting an automation remove queued posts?

    No. Any posts already added to the queue will remain unless manually deleted.

  • Can I edit an automation instead of deleting it?

    Yes, you can click on the automation and modify its settings, conditions, or actions as needed.

  • Can I delete the post/reply sent by the automation through SocialBu?

    With SocialBu, only scheduled posts can be deleted. You can delete the reply after it gets published directly from the platform.
