Getting an error while connecting Instagram account?
We have listed down common errors and what to do in case you get them.
1. Email verification
Please verify your email address associated with your Instagram account to continue
It means that the email address associated with your Instagram account is unverified in Instagram's records.
To fix this, go to your Instagram profile settings and check your email address there. Remove the email, save. Add the email again, save. At this point, you will receive a confirmation email from Instagram and you will have to click the link in it. Note that this is between you and Instagram only.
After that is done, you should be able to add your Instagram account in SocialBu.
2. Phone verification
Please verify your phone associated with your Instagram account to continue
This error is the same as the email verification error that we have listed above. To fix this, go to your Instagram profile settings and check your phone number there. Remove the phone number, save. Add the phone number again, save. At this point, you will likely receive a confirmation code from Instagram. Complete the verification and that should fix it.
3. Unable to complete verification
Unable to complete the verification. Please make sure you complete the verification without interacting with Instagram manually<br>
This happens when you open Instagram on a mobile device or on the web while connecting your Instagram account with SocialBu. Do not open or interact with Instagram while adding your account in SocialBu.
4. Review of Login Activity
Please open Instagram and review your login activity first
To fix this, just open the Instagram account on your mobile device and review your activity check.
5. No phone number
Please add a phone number to your Instagram account to continue
Sometimes, if you have not attached a phone number to your Instagram account, you will get this message while adding your account in SocialBu. Adding a phone number to your Instagram account will fix this.
6. Unknown response
Unknown response from Instagram. Check your account on Instagram app or website and than try again
This can happen when Instagram is having some issue which can be or can not be related to your account. Check your account on the Instagram app and then retry.
