📝Creating a Mastodon post in SocialBu

Follow the steps below to create, schedule, and manage your posts like a pro.

Step 1: Access the Post Composer

You can just navigate to the Post Composer from your SocialBu dashboard to start creating your post.

Step 2: Select Your Mastodon account Account

Choose the desired Mastodon account(s) where the post will be published.

Step 3: Create Your Content

Write your post in the content area. You can also:

  • Attach images, videos, or other media files.
  • Add hashtags, mentions, or links to enhance engagement.

📢Note: SocialBu allows you to publish to multiple Mastodon accounts at once by selecting multiple accounts in the Post Composer. You can also customize the caption for each page individually.


✍️ Posting Mastodon threads through SocialBu

  • While composing your post, click on +Options.
  • Select Add Another Toot to start building your thread.
  • Continue adding as many toots as needed—each one will appear as part of the same thread.
  • Customize each toot with text, media, links, or spoiler tags.
  • Once your thread is complete, simply choose the date and time to schedule it.


⚠️ Adding Spoiler Text to a Mastodon Post


To add spoiler text to your Mastodon post:

  1. Click on +Options while creating your post in SocialBu.
  2. In the Spoiler Text field, enter the text you want to display as a warning or teaser.
  3. This text will appear as a clickable warning above your post, allowing users to choose whether or not to reveal the content.

Use spoiler text to give context, hide sensitive content, or build anticipation, perfect for thoughtful or dramatic posts!
