How to Post Threads or Threaded Replies on Mastodon?
SocialBu allows users to create threaded posts on Mastodon, making it easier to share detailed content across multiple connected posts. Follow this guide to create threaded replies:
Step 1: Create a New Post
- Log in to your SocialBu account.
- On the dashboard, click the "+ New Post" button at the top right corner
Step 2: In the "New Post" popup:
- Select your Mastodon account from the list of connected accounts.
- Write your main post content in the text editor
- Add hashtags, attach media, or add links as needed to make the post more engaging.
- Click "Show Options" for more posting options.
Step 3: Add Threaded Replies
- To add a follow-up post to your initial post, scroll down and click the "Add Another Post" button under "Threaded Replies" (refer to Image 3).
- A new text editor will appear where you can draft the next post in the thread.
- Continue adding posts as needed by repeating this step.
Step 4: Finalize and Schedule/Publish
- Once your thread is ready:
- Click "Post Now" to publish immediately.
- Or, use the "Schedule" option to set a specific time for publishing.
- SocialBu will automatically publish your posts as a thread on Mastodon.
