Reasons posts may not appear in the 'Awaiting Approvals' section.

In this article, we will cover:

  1. Why posts may skip the “Awaiting Approvals” section
  2. How team permissions affect approval visibility
  3. The importance of selecting the correct team during post creation
  4. FAQs

If you're expecting a post to appear in the "Awaiting Approvals" section but it's missing, there are typically two main reasons:

The Approver Is Also the Creator

If the person who has approval rights is the one creating or scheduling the post, it will not appear in the "Awaiting Approvals" section.

Tip: Ensure that someone without approval permissions is creating the post so it can go through the approval process.

The Team Was Not Selected in the Post Composer

When composing a post, make sure to select the correct team from the dropdown in the composer.

If you manually select accounts from the "All Accounts" list and not through a team, the post will not be routed for approval.

Tip: Always select the relevant team to activate the approval workflow properly.

FAQs

  • Why don’t I see posts pending my approval even though I’m a team approver?

If you're also the one who created the post, it won't go through the approval step.

  • Can a post be manually pushed into the approval queue?

No, approvals are triggered automatically based on roles and team selections.

  • I selected accounts but skipped selecting a team. Why isn’t the post awaiting approval?

Approval logic only works when posts are created within the context of a team.
