- FAQs
Step 1: Create a Draft Post
- Go to your SocialBu dashboard and click New Post to open the post composer.
- Design your post by adding text, media, links, etc.
- Select the relevant Team from the dropdown at the top.
- Choose the social media accounts where this post may later be published.
- Instead of publishing or scheduling, select the option to Save as Draft.
This will save the post for later editing, review, or approval by your team.
Step 2: View and Edit Draft Posts
- Go to the Publish section from the left-hand menu.
- Click on the Drafts tab to see all draft posts created by you or your team.
- Click on any draft to edit, schedule, or publish it.
Step 3: Filter to Find Specific Drafts
If you don’t see the draft you're looking for:
- Use the Filter option (🔽) at the top-right of the Drafts section.
- Apply filters by team, account, or date to narrow your search.
- Once the draft appears, click on it to proceed with edits or publishing.
Team Collaboration on Drafts
- Team members can view each other's drafts depending on permissions.
- You can use drafts to collaborate, review, or approve content before it is posted.
- Drafts help maintain content consistency and allow review cycles without needing to publish immediately.
FAQs
- Can all team members view and edit all drafts?
Only if they have the appropriate permissions. Admins can manage these under “Members and Access.”
- Can I schedule a draft post instead of publishing it immediately?
Yes. After editing a draft, choose the Schedule option instead of Post Now.
- Are drafts visible across all teams?
No. Drafts are specific to the team they were created under.
- What happens to drafts if a user is removed from a team?
The drafts they created will remain but may require reassignment or admin review for publishing.
